To record a live TV program after setting up the Windows Media Center in Windows 8, which of these is the correct procedure?

Step1: Launch the Media Center by choosing Start>All apps>Windows Media Center. Press the green button (sporting the Windows four-color flag logo) on the Media Center remote control.

Step2: Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to select the time and channel of a program playing sometime later in the day that you want the Media Center to record in the onscreen TV guide.

Step3: Highlight TV on the Media Center main menu and then click the Guide option to display the online TV guide where you can select the program to record. Press the Guide button on the Media Center remote.

Step4: Press the Enter key to display a Program Info Screen and then click its Record button - note that the program now displays a red dot in the TV guide indicating that it will be recorded. Press the Record button on the Media Center remote.
